We have all dreamed of living in a water park All summer when we were children, now as adults, it helps us to accompany our children, nephews, etc., with the pretext of taking care of them when in reality we enjoy more than them throwing ourselves down that kilometric slide.
Now we can do it, also traveling, because Hungary has opened this May Aquaticum Debrecen Strand , a spectacular park located in the Hungarian city of Debrecen. It was inaugurated in 2020, but the sanitary circumstances have not allowed it to be enjoyed with all its charms until now. Now, with normal capacity and without masks, the water park awaits new tourists with open arms and through multiple events and new services.
Shall we travel to Hungary this summer?
A WATER PARK FROM A MOVIE
Perhaps its main charm is that despite its size, it is surrounded by vegetation, and is also considered a one of the most innovative parks in Europe.
The facilities of the Aquaticum Debrecen Strand are as varied as they are complete. In their 5,700 square meters we can find 500 square meters of water spread over 15 pools, in addition to a 200 square meter plunge pool, a training pool and two pools of 50 and 30 meters each. Undoubtedly, one of its great attractions is its eight slides , four of them giants.
The water park has more than 5,000 m2.
And, if what you are looking for is more adrenaline, you cannot miss the jump platform and the sparkling glass bottom pool of 12 meters. For sports lovers, the park also has several sports fields (basketball, volleyball, soccer), a fitness park and teqball and ping pong tables.
Parents have rest and relaxation areas with medicinal waters that will provide a bathroom full of peace. In addition, the spa has a spa pool and a slow drifting river , as well as sun terraces, loungers, shades and a water bar. To complete the visit, the complex also has a promenade full of restaurants and cafes.
