6. A NIGHT IN THE HEIGHTS
To access the summit of Mount Pilatus (2,132 meters) you have to take the steepest cog railway in the world from Alpnach and then a cable car from Kriens. The trip is (and very) worth it. Those who suffer from fear of heights, better abstain. La Passarelle viewpoint in Locarno is not for everyone. Of course, those who have the courage to look out on this walkway designed with perfect landscape criteria, will enjoy enviable panoramic views. You will feel as if you are floating above the trees. At the end of the viewpoint stands a triangular viewing platform with 180° views of Lake Maggiore, Centovalli and the Maggia valley. Its restaurant, reminiscent of a mini castle with a tower and a red roof. With its playground and folklore nights, it is the perfect outing for the whole family.

8. A ROMANTIC GETAWAY TO SCHWARZSEE
The Schawrzsee holiday center is another perfect place to enjoy yourself in the summer time. Located east of Freiburg, legend has it that the waters of the Schwarzsee (Black Lake) remained that color after a giant washed his feet in them . Although the truth is that the color palette of these waters goes far beyond black. The landscapes of glacial origin that we find around it are impressive and very romantic. And for those looking to do a bit of trekking in the mountains, the best plan is to get on the chairlift that takes them to the Riggisalp/Kaiseregg region, at 2,185 meters.
9. A REFRESHING BATH
In St Gallen, with great views of the city and Lake Costanza, the 'Drei Weieren' recreation area is perfect for a dip.
