Vogue Spain born in April 1988 , and Penélope Cruz can boast of being the character who has appeared the most in the Spanish edition since then: this will be the twelfth time that she stars on a cover . The cover dedicated to the German designer, whom the actress appreciated, is the work of Peter Lindbergh , at Lagerfeld's own request.
For her part, the interpreter was in charge of ** selecting some of her favorite designs since Lagerfeld's arrival at Chanel **, which were sent to Madrid around the house exclusively, since she is very careful with her heritage.

One of the chosen suits was made nothing more and nothing less than the first year that the sewing master began to create true works of art for Chanel. “When I put on the red suit from 1983, I noticed the wool and felt a chill” , confesses the actress in the magazine.
After interpreting the role of Donatella Versace in the series american crime story , the same one that had several nominations for Emmy and Golden Globe awards, Penélope Cruz feels a special attachment to this great figure of the fashion universe.

The tribute to the Italian designer is photographed by Luigi and Iango , and on said cover, Penelope wears the recreation of one of her designs par excellence: the safety pin outfit that made Liz Hurley famous in 1994 , now recreated by her sister for the pre-fall 2019 collection.
