"The idea of having my own hotel was my dream from a very young age . I've spent entire summers on Antiparos for the past decade; It thus became my happy place and the perfect destination to make my dreams come true. I developed the idea of the hotel with my personal experiences, travel and endless hours of daydreaming. The purpose of Athanasia with the creation of this accommodation is to promote the respectful tourism on the island , thus defining a refuge for those who appreciate slow, calm travel, art, culture and the simple pleasures of life.
Materialized by the architecture studio VOIS Architects , with Katerina Vordoni, Martha Georgiou Righter and Fania Sinaniotis spearheading the project, The Rooster was conceived according to the principles of the local architecture of the Greek island of Antiparos , which has led them to erect the structure of the hotel from plaster, stone, wood, iron and marble.

"Every part of hotel It has been created according to the rustic style of the property. The Rooster was designed to live around the common area, with variable volumes for the different spaces that surround it, making sure it's as sustainable as possible" , adds Athanasia in relation to architecture.
Each of the 17 suites and villas are equipped with private pools, comfortable sitting areas , a private outdoor shower, private terraces, garden patios for dining, and an in-room bar. overlooking the landscaped gardens or the sparkling Aegean Sea , the spaces are defined by a calming color palette, in addition to an innovative combination of textures and patterns that are responsible for transmitting spiritual calm.
Embracing the farm-to-table concept, the culinary proposal served at The Rooster comes directly from their own harvest, and also stands out for healthy alternatives, fresh fish caught daily by local fishermen and a variety of locally produced cheeses and liqueurs from Antiparos and the rest of Greece.
Based on Greek and international dishes, a holistic approach which focuses on sound healing and sacred gong bathing ceremonies, spa treatments and bucolic sunsets , guests will experience falling in love on one of Greece's most evocative islands.
