The hiking route that will take you to Vigo returns.
"In spring walks the mountains of Vigo" , this is the motto of the new edition of the hiking party to get to know Vigo from its most natural side. In this new edition, in the past 12,931 people participated, of "Road to Road" , the program wants to publicize the resources available in the peri-urban mountains of the city, forest parks and local trails to bring citizens closer to natural heritage, viewpoints and ethnoarchaeological spaces.
It consists of seven hiking trails , suitable for all audiences and with various levels of difficulty, along local paths in Vigo, from Candeán to Saiáns, passing through the green belt that borders the municipal term associated with the path of long route GR-53 (Vigo Panoramic Path).
Under the security and prevention measures of COVID19, the maximum number of participants per route will be 100 people , which must be reserved in advance free of charge.** The tours last approximately three hours** and, starting from the forest parks, will allow you to circulate along the local marked trails.
At the end of each route there will be musical and traditional dance performances by the Association of Cultural Sports Centers of Vigo.
ROUTES FROM ROAD TO ROAD
What are the seven proposed routes of "Camiño a camiño"? The first one starts the Sunday May 9 on the local trail of Candeán, and will take place between 09:30 and 13:30 with the meeting point at Parque Forestal do Vixiador and with the performance of Froles Novas and Tarambainas.
The second will be held May 16 from the local path of Cabral, with a meeting point at the entrance of the Ifevi and the performances of Fiadeiro and Sons das Ferriñas. Route number three, on sunday may 23 , runs along the local Bembrive-Beade trail, with a meeting point at the A.R. do Pouso, in Bembrive, and performances by Queixumes and Beade Pandereteira.
On** May 30** the fourth route will take place, which will be along the local path of Zamáns. It will start from the Forest Park of Zamáns and will finally have the performances of Andarela and Pardavila.
The** June 5** will be the fifth route along the local path of Valadares, with a meeting point at the Sanatorio do Alba and the performances of Corisco and Cabral. The June 20th The sixth and penultimate route will be carried out, which will cover the local path of Coruxo, from the meeting point in Fragoselo and the performances of A Buxaina and Asubío. And the seventh ride will take place Sunday June 20 along the local path of Oia and Saiáns, with a meeting point in the Oia Forest Park and the performances of Os Ventos de Comesaña, Monteira and Traspés.
