Reopens the Café Comercial in Madrid

But the great novelty of the new Commercial is its kitchen . In addition to serving coffee and hot chocolate with churros from 7:30 in the morning, you can now have lunch and dinner. The menu, created by Pepe Roch (Macareno, Barbara Ann), is like the “castiza” Café. “ We have tried not to leave the originality of the concept of the place ”, he tells us minutes before lighting these stoves for the first time.
Classic, stately, elegant
“It's traditional cuisine, without any kind of international influence, because we wanted to be honest with the concept,” he continues. That is why there are dishes on the menu “such as tiger mussel waves Veal sweetbreads ” grilled with cream and its bound sauce. There are also tripe, wild potatoes, old cow meatballs... The meats are from Madrid, from La Finca. “As far as possible, we use products from Madrid, meat, or milk from Guadarrama ”. They also buy fish here, in Mercamadrid.
