What more can you ask for in the summer than an adventure in italian soil ? located between Amalfi and Positano , and with its origins dating back to the 17th century, this hotel it opened its doors in May 2012, following an extensive restoration carried out by its owner, Bianca Sharma, who acquired the structure in 1999.
With 20 rooms and suites with views of the amalfi coast , a heated infinity pool that 'hangs' over the sea and landscaped gardens, the hotel also offers the Pompeii Experience , allowing guests to explore the ancient city.

"The inspiration came from the recent and ongoing discoveries that have been made at Pompeii During the last years. In addition, the idea of offering the guided tour on a private basis also arose from the growing demand for privacy in the landscape of post-pandemic travel . We wanted to elevate this offer with exclusive and authentic experiences for guests, such as the visit to the Pompeian winery and the ancient Roman dinner in our Il Refettorio restaurant , awarded a Michelin star," Nathan Sharma, managing partner, tells Traveler.es in an interview via email.
The experience will allow guests explore Pompeii during the day with a private driver, who will take you on a one-hour scenic drive through the local villages, overlooking the stunning coastal scenery. In the city ruins tour , they will come across the most recent finds excavated from the site, including a mural and a Roman chariot, all unearthed in 2020.
Afterwards, a lunch will take place in the local winery Bosco de' Medici , which shares land with the pompeii ruins , and later a local, sustainable and biodynamic wine tasting experience, accompanied by dishes conceived with locally sourced ingredients and exceptional views of the Vesuvius National Park.

Regarding the two-night stay at the Monasterio Santa Rosa Hotel & Spa, the experience includes treatments with a volcanic clay body wrap and Vesuvius stones as well as the chance to step into a domed herbal steam room, an ice fountain to stimulate circulation, a natural rock sauna and a hydrotherapy pool.
"As with some of our creations, we're always looking for ways to showcase 'Amalfi beyond the sea' to our guests, by creating experiences that explore the best of the traditional offshore region for which it is famous. For example, one of our great experiences includes a privately guided hike through the little-known route called 'Valle delle Ferriere' , or valley of the iron workers, which leads to a nature reserve with waterfalls and historic ruins," he says.
And because no experience would find its maximum expression in Italy without the gastronomic aspect, the Chef Christoph Bob has designed a menu to recreate the cuisine that the ancient Romans and Greeks ate during their time in the Pompeii region , which will be served in the hotel restaurant.
The Pompeii package is available until November , with a price from 2,700 euros for two people and two nights in a Deluxe room.
