The treehouses they are a dream come true. Proof of this is its dazzling success; It's hard to get a free one! in the precious Sierra de Gata , in Extremadura, there are six to add to your wish list, distributed in 12 hectares of natural beauty.
“We thought of different types of accommodation, but we immediately decided that the ideal was cabins among the treetops. On the one hand, because we believed that it was the best way to enjoy the environment, and on the other, because Who has never dreamed of sleeping in a tree house? Talking to our customers, they confirm that it is a shared dream!”.
To feel like a child again
The one who speaks this way is Luis Mulió, who, together with his wife Aurelia Álvarez, built this complex with ecological materials and procedures almost ten years ago, in an authentic oasis in the middle of the nature of Villasbuenas de Gata , a town of just 350 inhabitants.
“We fell in love with the farm and its landscapes (and what is not there: no high-voltage cables, no roads, no power poles in sight from any point on the ground), of the plenty of water from the Sierra de Gata region and from the tail of the Rivera de Gata reservoir, which embraces us”, continues Mulió.

“A day in our accommodation begins with the bird songs charmingly breaking the silence. At the agreed time, a bell sounds, which warns us that breakfast is waiting hanging on a pulley next to the door. Juice, coffee or tea, along with fresh toast and some homemade surprise , they are waiting for us”, says the owner of this dream venue.
The basket with the ecological food, as in a children's adventure, rises effectively thanks to the pulley, and can be enjoyed both on the terrace private overlooking the green as, if the cold presses, next to the large window of the little houses, which always harmonizes with a beautiful and vigorous landscape.

“Hard to get out of the cabins , because the wood and the simple and warm decoration seduce. But there is a lot to do”, indicates Mulió. You can, for example, stroll through the endless estate (the cabins are very far from each other), full of unique corners, take a boat or canoe ride , and even splash in the two pools available to guests.
The little ones can also jump on the trampolines or play on the swings, before going out to regain strength. "At lunchtime, the gastronomic offer of the area is rich, varied and at more than affordable prices ; in summer, the beach bars of the natural pools , more than 18 within a radius of half an hour by car, are a great option”, announces Mulió.
In the afternoon, the plans continue: it is possible visit the nearby towns , many of them medieval, or explore beautiful paths bordering rivers and waterfalls. Of course, when the sun goes down, the best thing is snuggle on the terrace of the cabin and enjoy the sunsets. "They are fantastic," says the head of the complex.
You don't have to leave paradise for dinner either: dinner is also served in the cabin itself , and can be both casual and romantic (with cava, chocolates, massage oils...). “Before enjoying our organic cotton sheets, do not forget to look at the sky: it will be an unspeakable experience. The lack of light pollution and the clean atmosphere connect us directly with a sea of stars, and afterwards, silence welcomes us”, recounts Mulió.
The fairytale setting and the beautiful cabins set the stage for a very intimate experience in which, as paradoxical as it may seem, the most important thing is the Human contact. “The most special thing about our accommodation is the care and affection with which we design everything and the personalized attention, Well, since there are only six cabins, we have time to get into very close contact with the clients”, concludes Mulió.
