“Being from Holland, it is a luxury for us to get up and have the sun almost always by our side. Valencia is a city where you can get around by bike and reach the historic center, the sea or the park in less than half an hour. It is a city that has everything and at the same time is not too big”, they explain. Daphne and Wouter, owners of yours Boutique Hotel , why they decided to move to Valencia in 2008 to run a hotel in the Cánovas area (in addition to already owning a company dedicated to yacht design).
At that time and after traveling for six months in Asia and Australia, they saw the need to stay in one place and enjoy the experience of continuing to live abroad.

Starting from scratch, his dream came true by creating his own hotel. Hence the recent premiere of Yours Boutique Hotel. “The goal has always been create accommodation for sustainable tourism" , they explain to us. And that here, it shows , from the coffee that they serve you in the morning (roasted in Valencia), to the cleaning products, "which are from a Valencian brand and that we use with the aim of reducing single-use plastic." The Wouters explain a space whose name is inspired by the Spanish saying 'my house is your house', and which is made up of rooms, lofts, apartments and a penthouse with a terrace –10m2– in the Ruzafa neighborhood, very close to the Central Park and the Market.
“The style is inspired by Nordic minimalism, but adapted to its Mediterranean environment. We are very happy to have included furniture from Viccarbe and lighting from Arkoslight, design companies and venues”, they tell Condé Nast Traveler exclusively. Another of the firms that is presented is the Marie-Stella-Maris brand. “Which also has a social mission. We were clear that we did not want amenities small single-use plastic . We found this brand and fell in love with its fragrances and philosophy. They are natural products and free of parabens, silicones and dyes”.
