The 213 Rue Saint Honore It was, for twenty years and until 2017, a place of pilgrimage for lovers of fashion and trends, who rushed to the emblematic Colette concept store, eager for style, inspiration and discoveries.
Since this summer, those who mourned her absence are in luck: in June it opened its doors again, this time to embody An idea of Anthony Vaccarello with which you can get to fill this gap: Saint Laurent Rive Droite.

The creative director of Saint Laurent conceived this project -among whose marble shelves have been found since Jean Prouve chairs to designer condoms, all in collaboration with the firm Saint Laurent– such as an authentic creative and cultural exchange project.

The rue Saint Honoré, which has also recently seen the arrival of the new flagships from Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Balmain, Marni or Serge Lutens, among other firms, is finally home to a space with similar aspirations to the one that disappeared.
Saint Laurent River Droite
The boutique, close to Place Vendôme, offers a wide range of limited edition products (the idea is that each week different things are found), ranging from original photographs to oddities of all kinds: yoga mats, water bottles, stationery, USB flash drives, cookies with Yves Saint Laurent's own drawings, books...
In fact, Saint Laurent plans to launch its own publishing company in the future. Of course, there are also clothing for men and women, plus a coffee corner to go and an area reserved for events.

The name of the concept store, Rive Droite, is a nod to the Rive Gauche line with which Yves Saint Laurent helped democratize fashion and luxury, prêt-à-porter through, in the 60s.
Vaccarello intends to seduce new followers with a selection of objects signed jointly by the maison and other expert brands in their fields, thus betting on this store as a new essential shopping destination for those who need to know what's new.

The Belgian, who before working for Saint Laurent was with Karl Lagerfeld at Fendi, created his own label and launched a capsule collection for Versus Versace, he has personally selected each of the pieces included.
Thus Vaccarello expands the Saint Laurent universe, turning it into something "more immersive for the consumer", beyond clothing, accessories and campaigns. The idea is that it also functions as a laboratory for the other boutiques.

Among other curiosities, they sell Arcade games produced by Neo Legend , with the illuminated Saint Laurent logo.
On the technology front, the brand has partnered with Happy Plugs for headphones, Leica and Polaroid for cameras and Bang & Olufsen for speakers.
The more traditional will find baccarat crystal glasses or the reissue of a vintage ashtray Willy Rizzo with the Saint Laurent logo in relief.
At Saint Laurent Rive Droite you will find limited editions of art, music, games and much more.
Film screenings will also be scheduled – one of the first, Lux Aeterna, by Gaspar Noé, starring Charlotte Gainsbourg – and concerts, all in a monochrome setting decorated with vintage furniture and a library.
The men's section, in the basement, is more avant-garde, with flickering screens.

The boutique has a 'big sister' at 469 Rodeo Drive, L.A. This choice is due to the fact that Vaccarello spends a lot of time there, which draws a curious parallel with Marrakech, the city that was a second home for Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé.
