The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2019 have spoken
The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, known as the 'Oscars of restaurant design', have just published the list of the most beautiful restaurants in the world in 2019 And there is a Spaniard among them!
Its about New York Burger Moraleja Green , which has emerged as the winner in the category of Best Interior Surface Design in the international section.
Among the categories included in these awards, which this year celebrate their eleventh edition, are: the best lighting, the best interior, the best pop-up, the best color, the best ceiling...
And above all of them, two undisputed winners: the best restaurant and the best bar of 2019, which this year have been the bar ** SPINE Beirut (Lebanon) ** and the restaurant ** Alice & Fifth (Johannesburg, South Africa) * *.

A BURGER IN ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANTS IN THE WORLD?
In addition to the award obtained as Best design on interior surfaces , the New York Burger Moraleja Green was nominated in the categories for Best Restaurant Design and Best Lighting at European level.
The space signs it the architecture and design studio Proyecto Singular , which finds its inspiration in the industrial atmosphere of the Big Apple revising it and adding a sophisticated twist.
The place, which opened at the end of 2018, has 300 square meters of surface , divided into several spaces with capacity for 110 people in the dining room and 52 on the terrace.
The kitchen is open and natural light coexists perfectly with the neon lights, which combine stone and exposed brick.
Singular Project is based on a concept arising from the three pillars of the brand: Ember, Wood and Smoke. Thus, "the layout of the space suggests a container of essences product of the crafts, with the grill as the protagonist and where a good touch of sophistication is added", they comment from the firm to Traveler.es
"Sophistication moves us to a more modern, industrial New York by zones: leaving the raw structure and interview facilities", they continue.

In the list of the most beautiful bars and restaurants in the United Kingdom, the well-known ** Annabel's in London ** (best lighting) stands out, Milk Train in London (best coffee shop) , The Herbalist at Maidstone (better roof) and Hide in London (better identity).
Internationally, ** Cardboard (India) ** wins the award for best coffee, **The Top of Cloud (Xi'an, China) ** wins in the luxury category and **Nido (San José del Cabo, Mexico) ** in biophilic design.
Other awardees have been Suzue in Tokyo (better lighting) , Pizza 22 in Moscow (fast-casual), louis louis in toronto (best hotel restaurant) or Icha Chateau in Shanghai (better ceiling).
