while some only consume their morning dose of caffeine to start the day with energy, there are those who know how to appreciate down to the last citrus note of the coffee. Both experts in the field and amateurs have managed to position coffee as one of the most consumed beverages in the world.
Yes indeed, each country has a relationship with the broth in question, considerably varying the cost from one nation to another.
Europe
To find out which cities are cheaper and which are more expensive to buy one Cup of coffee , SavingSpot's finance experts conducted extensive research on 104 countries.
What methodology did they follow? The specialists gathered a list of world capitals and then investigated the average cost of a cup in every city.
SavingSpot used TripAdvisor to collect the price of an Americano (or espresso), a latte and a cappuccino in five coffee shops located in the capital of each country. Next, the researchers did an average price of the coffee.
In the number one spot? seoul (South Korea), which is positioned as the most expensive city with an average of $7.77 per cup. At the other extreme is Iran: in Tehran, where there are more followers of tea , you just have to pay $0.46 for a cup of coffee.
five countries of Middle East -Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, UAE and Saudi Arabia- are among the 10 most expensive places in the world to drink coffee. In turn, its neighboring countries, Turkey and, as we have said, Iran , are two of the cheapest in the world.

Luxembourg is the largest consumer of coffee in the world : the figure amounts to 11.1 kilos per capita per year. Instead, Nepal, India and Pakistan provide the counterpoint , since they consume less than 0.1 kilos per capita per year.
