What have been the best rated attractions and museums this year? The fifth edition of the awards Remarkable Venue Awards , organized by the Tiqets.com platform, already has the list of winners for this 2021. The winners were selected by Tiqets users, through the reviews they leave on the platform, and by a jury of more than 20 experts in the sector.
“This year's Remarkable Venue Awards recognize venues, that not only survived 2021, but thrived . They have received rave reviews from thousands of Tiqets customers, with ratings representing the best in the industry. They are a true merit for the travel and tourism sector”, declared Laurens Leurink, CEO of Tiqets, at the event held in Seville on the occasion of the Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS).
In total there have been 120 nominees from six different markets, which has had a jury of 20 people to deliberate. Despite the health restrictions, we Spaniards have also been able to enjoy our tourist attractions, and perhaps we have valued them much more than before.

- best museum : Chillida Leku in Hernani
- Best Attraction: Benalmádena Butterfly Garden
- Best Architectural Landmark: Casa Batllo in Barcelona
- Best Experience: Barcelona Wax Museum
- Most Innovative Attraction: Puy du Fou Spain in Toledo
- Best Hidden Gem: Velazquez Tech Museum in Madrid
"One of the great objectives of the awards Remarkable Venue Awards is to make culture more accessible and I think we are on the right track, with this unique combination of winners that brings together world-renowned sites with other attractions that are still being discovered by our customers”, stressed Jaume Vidal, Regional Manager for Spain and Portugal by Tickets.

Since 2017, Tiqets has been holding this event to highlight those attractions and museums that are favorites of travelers from all over Europe and the US. The 2021 Awards single out winners in seven award categories and six markets: United Kingdom and Ireland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the USA.
