Mount Igueldo

Igeldo lighthouse, next to the amusement park.

In September 2012 San Sebastian flipped. L to the top of Mount Igueldo (home to a pocho retro amusement park, our provincial Coney Island, sadder and more adorable than the Brooklyn park) hosted the Kutxa Kultur Festibala and everything changed . The event served to demonstrate to the people of San Sebastian the infinite possibilities of the city's geography and that with a little creativity and a couple of flats great things can be done. It is also clear that they must be given the reason to those who say that San Sebastian is the most beautiful coastal city in Spain , and you will see it from the viewpoint of this mountain, whose views cannot be replicated.

One option to upload is the cable car , it will be quite an experience riding on the 'Mole': the mythical transport has completed a hundred years of short journeys to the top, preserving the original wooden bodywork of the cars. That little trip (you can see schedules and rates on the Monte Igueldo website) leads to the perfect place to have an urban planning perspective and see how everything changes to stay.
