All this has an explanation: Leo, Cancer and Virgo. No, we haven't gone crazy. These three constellations give their name to the bubble tents of ** Bubbletent Australia **, a refuge located in New South Wales that offers a “glamping” experience with great detail.
"Get out of your bubble, and into ours!" , so says the slogan that heads the Bubbletent Australia website.
The three transparent, airtight and fully equipped tents offer impressive views of Capertee Valley , the second largest canyon in the world and a must-see pilgrimage site for bird watchers.

THE HISTORY
"It all started with the desire to carve our own path, like most entrepreneurial adventures," they comment Sonny and Mayu, the couple in their thirties who co-founded Bubbletent Australia.
“The idea came from a trip to Lake Tekapo, in New Zealand, to observe the stars. It was spectacular. But when we got back to our accommodation, we realized that we couldn't do what should be natural in a place like that: sleep under the stars without freezing!” they count
Something similar happened when visiting coonabarabran , where they also found a ceiling between them and the sky.
“We were determined to get the experience we desperately wanted and Since we couldn't find anywhere that offered it, we decided to make it ourselves and share it with people!” They continue to tell Sonny and Mayu.

THE LOCATION: CAPERTEE VALLEY
“The exact location where the stores are located is somewhat of a secret, as we want people to feel free in a private and isolated environment” , they explain from Bubbletent Australia.
“We can say that it is approximately midway between Mudgee and Lithgow , overlooking the stunning Capertee Valley”.
Capertee Valley is a paradise for bird watching, or what is the same, a IBA (Important Bird and Biodiversity Area). A third of all Australian bird species live there.
When the sun rises, in addition to the spectacle that it supposes admire the sunrise from the warmth of our bubble, we can hear a symphony orchestra formed by the mixture of the song of the birds (although visits by eagles are also frequent).

THE STORES
Virgo, Leo and Cancer, the stores available at this time, owe their names to the zodiac signs of the owners: Mayus, Sonny and John.
Virgo contains a herb garden and a swedish wooden jacuzzi and boasts the most impressive panoramic views of the Capartee Valley.
In Cancer you will feel as if you were floating in the middle of the ravine. Y Leo , the "firstborn", is located on a hillside where one experiences at the same time the sensation of being the smallest and at the same time the largest inhabitant of planet Earth.
The shops are hidden from each other, so nature will be the only travel companion in this unique experience.

The bubbletents meet protected from inclement weather and from any little bug that dares to interrupt your transparent sanctuary. They work through a pressurized system where the air continuously fills the tent with the help of an ecological turbine that works thanks to batteries and solar energy”, they explain.
There's also a telescope that allows you to take pictures of the moon using your smartphone. The iPad It has bird watching applications, playlists specially designed for the occasion.
“Also, with the stargazing app luminous , you can go on a virtual tour of the solar system and beyond!”, the owners enthuse. “It allows you to point to any object in the sky and find out the name and other interesting details, including artificial satellites, they count.

ACTIVITIES
Nearby activities include helicopter rides, wine routes, hiking, abseiling, canoeing, fishing and ecological excursions. "We also have some places with hammocks where it will be impossible to fall asleep, because of the views, not because they are uncomfortable," they joke.
“We are very happy with the results. Many of our guests tell us that the images do not do it justice”, they say from Bubbletent.
Renting one of the three translucent bubbles starts at €200 a night.
