Gregory the Fisherman (Calle la Iglesia, 11, Corralejo; tel. 928 86 62 27; about €25). In the so-called 'Little Italy', in the old part of town, it is the best fish restaurant in Corralejo. The octopus stew is excellent.
Mark House _(Ctra. General, 94, Villaverde; tel. 928 86 82 85; about €20) _. In a beautiful mansion, this gastronomic bar has garnered several awards for its delicious signature tapas (actually portions). Tradition with a special touch. Good warehouse.
the blue cow _(Requena, 9, El Cotillo; tel. 928 53 86 85; €25-32) _. In the old wharf of Cotillo, it is our favorite fish restaurant of the island. Try the grilled octopus with mojo and the seafood soup and follow the advice of the waiter. Outstanding service. In the town of El Cotillo, other good restaurants to enjoy the best seafood are The Marsh _(Pedro Cabrera Saavedra, 3; tel. 928 538 543; about €30) _ or The looker (tel. 928 538 838; about 25 euros), specializing in kid and rice dishes.

the skewers _(González del Hierro, 21, Lajares; €10-12) _. Popular and unfashionable place where the best kid meat (fried or stewed) on the island is served.
722nd Art Gallery _(Lajares) _. Gourmet Italian cuisine and art exhibitions in a beautiful building with large panoramic windows.

**Sunset Bar (Ajuy)**. It is the best place to watch sunset. Order the specialty coffee and ask the owner, Pedro Montañés, about the green ray and his art exhibits. In Corralejo, go to Aqua, for an aperitif or a cocktail, and to the Waikiki Beach Club, when everyone else has closed. In the latter, an institution, apart from having drinks, you can also have breakfast and lunch almost at any time.
**Canela Bar (Lagares) **. It is the center of the town's social life. Almost every night there are usually concerts. In town, another option is the Return, open from 5 pm. Good music guaranteed, also live.
**The Mentidero (Cotillo) **. Gatherings are organized. It is a good place to remember the great Miguel de Unamuno.

Grand Hotel Atlantis Bahia Real _(Av. Grandes Playas, s/n, Corralejo; tel. 928 53 71 53; HD: from €230) _. Location, views and exquisite cuisine (from the Japanese Yamatori to the rice dishes on the beach at Las Palmeras, the new Coco Beach) define what is considered the best hotel on the island, this year with an expanded beach and a bar overlooking the sea . Also belonging to the same chain are the Suite Hotel, designed for families, with a wide range of entertainment, and the Duna Park, quieter and only for adults.

Hotel Avanti _(Dolphin, 1; HD: from €125) _. Beautiful boutique hotel with a careful maritime atmosphere in the center of Corralejo. Its restaurant, El Rompeolas, is a must.
Hotel Rural Mahoh (Site of Juan Bello, 1, Villaverde; tel. 928 86 80 50; HD: from €60). Only nine rooms in an old Majorera peasant house from the beginning of the 19th century, in the middle of the countryside. Its owner is a respected professor and a well-known environmentalist and singer.
