Like being inside a painting
That is what one of his friends must have thought, who assured him that, on his tour of South America, he couldn't stop visiting him. "He said it was one of his favorite places on the planet . once i got there I understood why! ", explains the artist.
"The first thing that struck me was obviously or colorful of buildings. It was different to anything she had seen before. The colors matched the beautiful cobblestones perfectly, and as a photographer, I realized that It would be a perfect place to take snapshots. In fact, every corner she turned was a new and amazing photo waiting to pull the trigger," Jessica recalls about this town located in Antioquia, just two hours from Medellin, and that, in her words, It has practically no visitors.

However, as the photographer recalls, "the neighbors are very warm and friendly with the few travelers they receive" . In fact, they are the "culprits" that their streets look so striking: "It seems that the colored houses began when some families drew pictures on the sides of their houses, and the art has evolved ever since," explains Jessica.
However, despite being the first thing that catches the eye, the colorful painting was not what he found most extraordinary: "If you look very closely at the photos, you will realize that there are designs that run along the bases of the buildings : Those were the most interesting to look at. Some are just geometric forms, but others contain little "scenes" They tell a short story. It was great to wander aimlessly around town and watch them every step of the way," she explains.
