There is a Dominican Republic beyond the big hotels, the organized tours and beyond the favorite corner of Instagram. There is a Dominican Republic in which the all inclusive is an ecological and sustainable happiness. And that is the island we are looking for, the one we like the most. an island of open nature and craft traditions that asks to be respected and cared for to take care of us, its visitors.

That Dominican Republic is the one that takes us directly Organic, the first 100% organic Dominican rum from Barceló Spain. A trip without moving, with all the flavor and aroma of the Caribbean island.

Barceló Organic 100 organic.

Barceló Organic, 100% organic.

Organic is made from sugar cane grown in a wild cane field barely 1.5 kilometers long and bounded naturally by a river. "No irrigation systems or treatments or fertilizers are used," he explains. Ana Suárez, Brand Ambassador of Ron Barceló Spain. The rain takes care of everything.

Near that field, there is the distillery where it is made, so the sugar cane does not have to travel.

In its next phase, distillation, is carried out with 100% renewable thermal energy and 83% electrical energy of photovoltaic origin. “In addition, it is a rum that is naturally aged in new oak barrels and of which there is one limited annual production adds Ana Suarez.

The result is an intense amber color. Caramelized aromas of cherry, cocoa and tobacco leaf. Dominican Republic in one drink. Fleshy fruits at first contact, and a finish of candied fruits and pink pepper. An extension of the Caribbean flavor, smooth and light.
