Barcelona will become the venue for the world premiere of The World of Van Gogh on November 25, the most advanced and comprehensive immersive exhibition to date , fruit of the creation of the Spanish production company Nomad Art.
For this premiere, The World of Van Gogh has chosen the Dome of the Las Arenas Shopping Center , a circular space of more than 2,000 square meters, which places Barcelona as the seat of the largest and most advanced multimedia scene in the country.
What are we going to find in it that we haven't seen yet? The Van Gogh's world takes the viewer into a completely immersive 360º sensory universe. Lets enter the mind of the artist , see the world through his eyes, understand, feel and breathe his unique works of art in a multimedia area in which the surfaces are completely impregnated with colors, from floor to ceiling, providing a three-dimensionality real.

A SENSORY EXPERIENCE
With this new proposal, Nomas Art takes the immersive concept one step further , based so far on slideshows with animation and classical music. “We have opted to redefine it, introducing three-dimensionality , the artificial intellect and the simulations more daring, combining them with touch, smell, original music and first-person narration. Everything in a 360º environment, truly recreating the world of Van Gogh completely”, explains Alejandra Soto, director of the exhibition.
The sensory experience will be accompanied by a 100% original soundtrack created by the young composer from Alicante Adrian Berenguer . His mesmerizing music will help the viewer to get carried away by the magic of Vincent Van Gogh. “Of course, it is risky to bet on a contemporary artist instead of the almighty Mozart and Bach. But we hope that the public loves the soundtrack as much as we love it: it is very powerful and very exciting, it is an artist with a lot of future”, says Soto.
As a prelude to the great three-dimensional show, a psychedelic room of mirrors takes the visitor to experience the first part of the exhibition : a space full of reflections, as if it were the mind of the Dutch painter, turbulent and bewitching.
The next part is an introductory entertainment area for all audiences, where you can find all the information about the life and work of the painter , to different points where he becomes the protagonist of some of his paintings.
The little ones also have a creative space , where they can give free rein to their imagination, paint and draw as if they were Van Gogh himself.
Nomad Art has spared no resources to present its second immersive exhibition, after Klimt's El Oro which, despite the circumstances, continued to break records this summer in Valencia.
The exhibition The World of Van Gogh will be open in the Dome of the Las Arenas Shopping Center from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day until March 2022. Tickets are already available on their website.
