Holidays are synonymous, among other things, with the life of beach bar . Who doesn't miss having a cold beer with their feet in the sand?

For us it has become a necessity even out of season and, as we always go further, we want to tell you several places in which you can do it in Spain even if you no longer have sea views.

LA MOVIDA CHIRINGUITO, EXTREME’S SIBERIA

On the shores of the largest reservoir in Spain (La Serena) and in the heart of La Siberia region of Extremadura (in Esparragosa de Lares, Badajoz), Gabri Calderón imagined a beach bar (the one in Los Llanos) seven years ago and made it a reality.

He thus wanted to give life to his town, isolated and little known, which now receives travelers from half the world. La Movida began as an austere portable beach bar and is now an oasis in the middle of the steppe of Extremadura, with hammocks, showers and pedal boat rentals, where mojitos and his mother's tortilla pinchos are all the rage. Open from June to September.

LEMON PEAR, VALLADOLID

Lately Valladolid is giving a lot to talk about. Never better said. Pera Limonera is the third location of the Bla Bla Bla Group, after La Cotorra and La Cacatúa, two of the city's most fashionable restaurants.

Its creators, three restless thirtysomethings, want to demonstrate in each of their projects that the Valladolid glacier is a myth. In Pear Lemon, a riverside beach bar, that of Las Moreras, they have materialized the ideas that occurred to them when they traveled.

They are defined as a tropical colonial restaurant but his inspiration has been California, with its cosmopolitan spirit, the tones of its sunsets, the mixture of prints and textures and its neon signs.

You can go for a vermouth, a mid-afternoon cocktail or a drink after dessert, but also have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sit on its terrace and, taking advantage of the Pisuerga passes through Valladolid (and in front of Pera Limonera), order a Rueda. They open every day of the year, since their terrace will acclimatize for the cold Pucelano winter.

** LA MARTUKA, MADRID **

in Madrid San Juan Swamp , is the new sensation for Sunday people: this beach bar located one meter from the water, on the only beach in Madrid with a blue flag, is specializing in paellas and wood-grilled meats. In addition, they have a water activities company. Open daily from March to mid-October. Since then, only from Friday to Sunday.

CAFE DEL RIO, MADRID

We continue in Madrid, although with a more urban concept, on the banks of the Manzanares. From its viewing terrace you can contemplate the Royal Palace and the Cathedral of La Almudena.

Here you can't go barefoot, but you can remember your favorite summer nights while you drink their Madrid Río cocktail and their squid croquettes in their ink. They also have many options for celiacs.

MARIATRIFULCA, SEVILLE

In the Seville neighborhood of Triana , bathed by the Guadalquivir, we find another of those 'high-heel beach bars'. Leave the flip flops at home and put on your best clothes.

MariaTrifulca pays homage, with her name, to the beach that the city of Seville had in the 20th century. Until they give you your table on the roof, lean on their bar and order any of their tapas. Dinner watching the sunset and ends with its famous brioche Torrija with meringue milk ice cream and mascarpone.

So far our guide to beach bars and substitutes for combat, albeit ephemerally, post-holiday depression. For now, and until next year, they are a good solution to temporarily mitigate the desire to live in an eternal summer.
