It will be wonderful to travel to... Majorca

Yes, of course it will be wonderful to travel to the Balearic island. But while we dream of retracing the curves of the Tramuntana mountains and diving into impossible blues, we can take a little piece of Mallorca hanging from the shoulder.

Rustic, minimalist, timeless and unique. So are the bags santapalma , who also have a woman's name: Josefina, Laia, Aina, Isabel, María...

its creator, Elizabeth Colom , she jumped from the world of architecture to the design of accessories in 2017, when she devised the first model of the firm, made from palm leaves, collected and dried in the Mediterranean sun.

“I have always been very inspired by the craftsmanship and culture behind the hand-braiding of palm leaves, That's why, almost without being able to avoid it, I found myself focused and obsessed with finding my way to interpret it”, says Elisabeth.

The bags are made locally, with natural materials –in addition to palm leaves they also use canvas and leather– and always betting on sustainability and responsible consumption.

“Santapalma says: find yourself and connect with yourself and your environment. Take responsibility for this relationship and consciously consume products that balance you, that bring you closer to nature. Live the essence of simplicity” Colom sentence.
