Els Magazinos. Do you want to know what Dénia's new gastro market will be like?
Dénia already has a gastronomic market. Els Magazinos opened its doors a few weeks ago in a space dedicated to the city and to all audiences with more than 2,000m2 and 22 gastronomic proposals.
Els Magazinos is located in one of the union streets of Baix la Mar , an industrial area that has been of great importance since the nineteenth century XVI to XXI for the development of Dénia. Here they worked piecework toy factories with a Disney license and this was also one of the areas where the Duke of Lerma . It is for this reason that they wanted to give a new life to this space that includes history, gastronomy and culture.
The project has been carried out Federico Cervera , the fourth generation of a family dedicated to gastronomy. The Magazines It will be its 10th open space dedicated to local cuisine, roots and commitment to quality tourism.
The market, which will be open from 9 in the morning , will be the epicenter to know the typical gastronomy of the Marina Alta in 22 stops distributed in streets, stores and stalls.

What can you find here? There are all kinds of stalls with typical cuisine, but also more international spaces open to all kinds of audiences: vegetarians, those interested in Japanese cuisine and even French pastries.
For example, the more traditional ones like the Croqueteria Qmcomo, that brings together the know-how of three generations and where you can taste free range chicken croquettes , salted or cooked cod; wave Terrastur Cider House with typical Asturian dishes.
There is also room for more international options such as Sushi Tavern, inspired by the izakayas of Japan, The Chocolate , with French pastries, or The Speak Easy , with cocktails brought from underground New York.
The typical products of Dénia and the Marina Alta can be found at bus stops Les Cuinetes , the Robert Baret or in Ostrarium Bar Dénia , which as its name suggests is specialized in oysters.
