On the other hand, the temporary opening exhibition of the Academy Museum, Hayao Miyazaki, is the first retrospective in America honoring the acclaimed filmmaker and his work, including pieces to be exhibited outside Japan for the first time.

This fascinating exhibit, which will occupy the museum's Marilyn and Jeffrey Katzenberg Gallery, features more than 300 items and explore each of Miyazaki's animated feature films -the most iconic of Studio Ghibli-, among which stand out My Neighbor Totoro (1988) and Spirited Away (2001).
