A picnic in the heat of Notre Dame
1)The chic in the horse races of the Prix de Diane contest at the Domaine de Chantilly. Dressed in white and with a hat, it is the Parisian Ascot. In this pique-nique “more is always little”. Singular characters, vintage dresses, long suits, lace, bow ties, boaters, hats and umbrellas are part of the style book of this sophisticated event. The table, according to the circumstances, a neat tablecloth on the grass, crockery and glassware, vases of red berries, candlesticks, fountains with delicacies, floral decorations... You can let your imagination run wild and live a day in the country like in the 19th century.
2)A refreshing afternoon snack, when the sky begins to turn pinkish. A place, Montmartre with views of the rooftops of Paris . To snack, a bowl with ice cream and assorted fruits that you will have previously selected in the greengrocers of the mythical Lepic street.
3)The asset , during a game of petanque in the secluded 17th-century Place Dauphine. You can spread a classic red and white checkered tablecloth on one of the benches. On the menu, Pastis, typical of the South of France, country pate and a fluffy polaine bread , all from Hediard.

4) For a “I do” assured, get a bottle of champagne and some oysters from the trendy bar Le Marie Celeste. For dessert, some Poplini Choux sweets. Set the stage with candlelight in the bank located on the Quai de Bourbon in l'île Saint-Louis . From that angle you have a beautiful view of the Seine and you will be alone.
5) Rustic , on the banks of the Seine. A special place, under the stairs of the Square du Vert-Galant. You can take a boat ride and then have a casual snack. On the menu, a traditional baguette and a cheese board (a fruity Comté, an exquisite Brie de Meaux, a Saint-Maure de Touraine or a creamy Roquefort) washed down with a Bourgogne wine. Accompany it with some grapes, you know, grapes and cheese, they taste like a kiss …
6) The Romantic, wicker basket, tablecloth and linen napkins. A wine advised by the adorable owner of Le Comptoir du Terroir on Etienne Marcel Street . To taste, some delicate blinis with exquisite tarama, tapenade and hummus from traiteur Stohrer. To finish, a Paris-Brest cake from the classic Angelina tea room. Some neighbors of Royal Palace they set up folding tables and chairs under the rows of trees, as if it were a private garden.

7) Palace picnic. In the garden of one of the châteaux near Paris, such as the fabulous Palace of Versailles, located on the shore of the lake, or the regal Château de Fontainebleau. You can find some treats to take away at Lenôtre, to continue with the royal style.
8)The classic picnic at Invalides, chaired by the golden dome of the Palace on one side and on the majestic Pont Alexandre III for the other. Ideally, having previously taken a succulent gastronomic tour with Localers (in which you will learn to choose artisanal products like a Parisian).
9) The urban. Savor a quick lunch, in the quiet Place Louvois : a spinach quiche and a Saint-Honoré cake from Hugo & Victor. If you have time, you can take a peaceful nap with the murmur of the fountain in the background.
10)The exotic , you can get a juicy falafel from the famous Ace del Falafel on the pedestrian rue des Rosiers in the Marais. If you prefer, in the same street you can try the delicious Russian specialties of Sacha Finkelsztajn. A good spot for this break, the quiet ones Francs-Bourgeois-Rosiers Gardens one minute from the spectacular Carnavalet Museum.

11) The hipster, at a take away pizzeria, Pink Flamingo. This little fashionable Italian will take you_Quattro Stagioni_ on the banks of the Seine on the lively Canal Saint Martin. They will look for you among the hustle and bustle thanks to a fuchsia-colored helium balloon that they will have given you when ordering. Andiamo!
12)The bio. Pick up a courgette, feta and parmesan crumble Kluger tart or a bento from the nearby Nanashi Japanese Canteen and spread out your camp in verdant Buttes-Chaumont Park overlooking the Sacré Coeur Basilica.
13) Music in the Floral Park of the Château de Vincennes. A very pleasant garden to spend an afternoon in contact with nature. In addition, during the months of June and July it is enlivened by a jazz festival.

14)Beret-Baguette. Once a year a massive picnic is organized. The principle is to ride a bicycle with a “beret” look. The participants take the outfit very seriously so v you will be the cliché of clichés , mustaches, ankle-length pants, suspenders over striped or white shirts. They wear peasant-style skirts and straw hats or floral headscarves.
15) Quite a show , like the famous White Dinner but with a country air. In the pan you will have bread from the boulangerie Aux Délices du Palais (awarded the Best Baguette in Paris mention), j ammon of torchon, duck and saucisson rillettes accompanied by pickles and a bottle of Bordeaux from one of the open markets in Paris.
