The map of the most popular tourist attractions in Spain

We usually say that "as Spain nowhere"; that our waters have nothing to envy the Caribbean; that where the paella is, that the spaghetti bolognese be removed.

Nevertheless, How many times have we put a flight thousands of kilometers away before a getaway by car to the next province? Perhaps too many.

But there is always time to discover (or rediscover) our country! That's why, Musement – booking platform for activities and experiences at the destination – has developed a Map with the most popular tourist attraction in each Spanish province.

The infographic makes it clear the enormous and varied cultural, natural and leisure offer of our country: from architectural landmarks to castles and fortresses to ancient ruins, national parks and natural spaces, Roman theaters, plazas, museums and art centers.

NATIONAL TOURISM, A SECTOR ON THE RISE

The new report from National Outbound Tourism Observatory (ObservaTUR) highlights for the second consecutive year the importance of national tourism, since 91% of travelers who plan to make a getaway this summer consider a stay in a Spanish destination likely , and 71% plan to visit an autonomous community other than their own.

If you are part of that percentage of travelers who consider a getaway through national territory, this map can be very useful, since it houses 52 attractions (one for each province and autonomous city) that cannot be missing from your list of places to visit.

To select those 52 attractions, More than 4,500 places of interest throughout the country have been taken into account, and the number of reviews received on Google for each of them has been analyzed (data from May 2021). Thus, the tourist attraction with the highest number of reviews was considered the most popular in the province.

In the case of attractions that are part of several provinces , in the infographic they are shown in the province (or provinces) in which it is the most popular option.
