1. CANOEING ON THE EBRO

One of the best itineraries is the one that starts at the Miravet pier and goes to Benifallet. It is carried out by the Beniemocions company and is adapted to all ages. Children up to 10 years old have to go up in a double canoe with an adult and those under 8 years old in a 3 or 4-seater in the central seats. The duration is about three hours and the price is 25 euros for adults; children under 14 do not pay.

It leaves Tivissa to take a 580-meter route classified as easy, with a drop of just over 160 meters. The activity lasts just under two hours and can be finished with a 20 meter rappel . It is made by the Rogles company. It can be done by children from 12-14 years old depending on how agile they are. The price is 28 euros per person.

3. HORSE RIDING IN THE EBRO DELTA

The Carlos Cid equestrian center offers horseback riding routes through the Montsià mountain range and through the Ebro delta. One of them runs along the Eucaliptes beach while contemplating the landscapes of the Ebro Delta (2 hours and 49 e/person; from 6 years) . They offer a discount with the Youth Card.

Four. CANYONING ON THE CANALETA RIVER

The last tributary of the Ebro, in the Ports Natural Park, has jumps, slides and siphons that ensure a fun route. It can be done by children from 8 years old. The activity is organized by the company Esgambi and they are in charge of requesting the necessary permits for the descent. The prices are based on the number of people, if the family has between 2 and 4 members the price is 45 euros per person (rental of the necessary material separately).

5. HIKING IN THE ELS PORTS NATURAL PARK

There are many types of routes, from the simplest to the most demanding, depending on the fitness and age of the children. a very interesting goes through the Ports de Horta, the Carrer ample ravine and les Clotes (510 meter drop and 15 kilometers). You can also do a route by car (in winter there may be snow) to the Cim del Caro and then walk around, descending on foot to the Mascar fountain.
