24 hours to get carried away... with Marta Hazas
We wake up in Santander and let ourselves be carried away by the fresh breeze until we have a good breakfast. Marta Hazas finds it difficult to select: “there are many delicious ones, for example, in the Santa&Co _(Marcelino Sanz de Sautuola, 17) _ dogs can enter and they have a delicious coffee ”. A stop to feel at home and start the day without rushing: mocha latte, half moons, biscuits and homemade pastries (they also have soy, rice or oat milk).

Our steps are directed towards one of the most beautiful bays in Spain to seek the strength of the Cantabrian Sea. “If it is spring or summer, it would be very good to go to the Palacete del Embarcadero, take a boat to we are and take a walk on the beach the strut ”, Martha tells us. An undulating paradise that invites calm with more than two kilometers of sand in the center of Santander Bay: "if you want a romantic plan you can also have a glass of wine at the beach bar on El Puntal beach", she tells us . It's lunchtime and Marta takes us to a gastronomic institution, one of the most respected bars. “Go for a beer to Cañadío _(Gómez Oreña, 15) _, they have a pintxo bar that is very good, and then eat at gele _(Eduardo Benot, 4) _, Their lobster tails are spectacular! ”, says the actress.

“In the afternoon, take a walk along Paseo Pereda and go from shops to Beda Herrezuelo _(Calvo Sotelo, 23) _, a traditional store that has very good skin, or Hanger _ (Paseo de Pereda, 13) _ ”, she suggests to us. Santander is looking for new ways to look out over the bay: the recently opened Gamazo esplanade is the perfect excuse to get to the Magdalena Palace , the most iconic building in the city (check their schedules for guided tours) . "You will see that as it is a small city, one afternoon goes a long way ”, she comments with a laugh. After a whole day of walking, you may hear expressions such as how cool is it or see people getting off the bus.
Two streets call us: Río de la Pila and del Sol. “There are more and more small concerts in the Río de la Pila area or, suddenly, there are cultural associations that organize events that are very good on Calle del Sol”.

At this time we are already hungry and have a goal: we want to savor the Cantabrian Sea . “I would go to dinner the Bombi _ (Casimiro Sáinz, 15) _, for me it is one of the restaurants with which you are always right: for meat, fish, shellfish… for everything”, she explains to us.
