Casa Vicens was conceived in its construction as a summer house for a Catalan family . It was Gaudí's first important work, at a time when the Gracia neighborhood was still independent from the city. Its modernist red brick stands out in what is now one of the most charming neighborhoods in Barcelona and joins the architect's list of locations, such as Park Güell or Casa Batlló.
Your host, Emili, is part of the team that was in charge of turning it into a house museum. He will be in charge of share with the guests the secrets that it hides n between its corridors and the history that lives within its walls. Casa Vicens opened its doors with a new face in November 2017, but most of its 136 years remained closed , hiding the stories you can tell today.
