Things you must do on your trip to Vietnam
1. GET TO KNOW THE HISTORIC CITADEL
The Citadel is one of the most outstanding points of the city, since it is a fortified area that served as a fortress and royal residence. Inside is the Forbidden Purple City which in its heyday was comparable to the Beijing Forbidden City.
The city was bombed by US forces during the Vietnam War, demolishing most of its buildings, but many of them have been restored. In 1993 the place was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

two. VISIT THE TOMBS OF THE EMPERORS
The emperors who reigned in Vietnam rest today in well-known monuments. Most of the imperial tombs are scattered throughout the perfume river , like the well-known Minh Mang, Tu Duc, Dong Khanh and Khai Dinh, the latter being the most visited.
Even though the graves were built in the last 200 years Some of them are unfortunately not in good condition due to lack of maintenance and original construction techniques.

3. CROSS THE BRIDGE
thanh toan it is a small covered bridge of Japanese style of about seven kilometers located to the east of the city. The place does not have much historical interest, but today it is part of the modern architecture of the city.
The bridge allows vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians to cross over the perfume river and lights up with different colors after sunset.

Four. IMPRESS YOU WITH YOUR PAYMENTS
Thien Mu , also known as the heavenly lady , is one of the signs of identity of the old imperial city. Founded in 1601, the pagoda sits atop a hill on the left bank of the Perfume River and is so popular that it features in numerous songs and poems.
Another of the best known pagodas is that of Linh Mu for being the place where the monk lived Thích Quảng c, who was burned to the bonze as a protest against the Government.

To get here, we will start the tour from Vy Da Ward , on the south bank of the Huong River and we will head north along the road Pham Van Dong . When we reach the intersection we will turn right. The road finally crosses over a bridge to Thuan An Island where we will see the signs to access the beach.
