Make a wish... or as many as you want!

But, what is really a shooting star? These magical starbursts are actually dust particles of different sizes , the result of the trail of comets in their orbits around the Sun. This stream of particles disperses and is traversed each year by the Earth on its way around the Sun. It is at that moment when the dust particles disintegrate upon entering our atmosphere and the famous light trails are produced.

The Quadrantids, together with the Geminids, are two showers that have something special . There is no comet that matches the path of dust left behind by shooting stars. Its parents are asteroids , 3200 Phaethon in the Geminids, and 2003 EH for the Quadrantids. These are two singular and unique rains.

On this occasion, the early morning is worth it , whether you see them live or from home. It is not the same to get up early to go to work, than to witness one of the most magical shows of the year. Go preparing wishes!
