The Pazo de Meirás reopens to the public with free guided tours

This July 1, the Pazo de Meirás opens its doors to the public with free guided tours which, for now, will be limited to outdoor areas and will take attendees to visit a large part of the 93,000 square meters of its gardens, they explain from the Sada Council.

The visits, which last an hour and a half and will be carried out in groups of a maximum of 20 people, will offer an explanation about the origin and evolution of the farm, focusing on two historical moments: the time of Emilia Pardo Bazán, with the construction of its towers; Y from 1938, when the Francos began to use it as a summer residence.

The first three days will have priority in these visits groups and entities of historical memory and it will be from day 4 when the general public will be able to participate on these tours of the gardens prior reservation through email [email protected] or by phone 981.62.00.75 (Ext 264) or 638.42.10.54.

The provisional schedule for this summer will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; Friday and Saturday all day with shows from 10:00 to 12:00, from 12:00 to 14:00, from 16:00 to 18:00 and from 18:00 to 20:00; and on Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
