E-commerce company jumps on the brick-and-mortar store bandwagon

amazon-books opens its doors in the university city of Seattle (known by its inhabitants as U-Village) . The Seattle Times echoes the news and tells us its ins and outs:
BOOKS
- An extensive selection of books (between 5,000 and 6,000 titles, highlights the city newspaper) whose inventory will be updated frequently using the data of the buyers of the city's online platform. That's called playing with an advantage. Although, ironically, orders made via Amazon cannot be picked up in the store. In addition, the books will be grouped by the usual sections but also by themes chosen by the store managers and by the most searched for on Amazon.com. Again, they play with a lot of advantage.
