Boom! the gucci house (Theatrical release November 26) is full of gems of dialogue like these, between tears and cries of Lady Gaga and the indifference of Adam Driver that will delight the viewers.
The film directed by Ridley Scott It is a melodrama, an operetta, one of the most classic soap operas, with wigs, shoulder pads, jewelry, exaggerated makeup and spectacular locations.
Based on the book by Sarah Gay Fadon, The House of Gucci tells the true story of the Italian luxury brand. Focusing on the episode starring Maurizio Gucci (Driver) and his wife Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga) between the 70s and 90s.
He was the heir to the family business ; she, a woman who came from a lower class , but with many ambitions. She helped him gain near-total power from Gucci and when he grew bored and decided to part ways, she commissioned his assassination.

Because of the film, in addition to that incredible leading couple, they are Al Pacino and Jeremy Irons measuring interpretive forces as the owners of Gucci: Aldo and Rodolfo. Also Jared Leto, transformed and hidden behind a surprising characterization as the Gucci chump Paolo. Plus, Salma Hayek in the role of fortune teller and adviser to Patrizia.
And although almost all the attention is taken by the cast, our eyes end up going to environments and spaces in which these bigger-than-life characters move. Full-blown luxury. A fabulous Italy palazzo and villas. Halls filled with antiques and art. Ridley Scott wanted “the best of the best. A world of privilege with no expense spared… but within budget and on schedule.”

The film arrives coinciding with the centenary of the birth of Gucci. Although he was founded in Florence, the Tuscan city is nowhere to be found. The action takes place, above all, in Milan, Lake Como, New York and St. Moritz, but the actual locations are different.
ROME AND MILAN, GUCCI CITIES
production passed 43 days shooting in Rome. In the Italian capital they found many of the exteriors and some of the houses that they pass off as Milan in the film. And many of the interiors were built in the mythical Cinecitta studios.
Church Santa Maria in Campitelli was chosen for the wedding between Maurizio and Patrizia. In Via Condotti, the popular Roman shopping street, they filmed the meeting between Aldo and Patrizia outside one of the Gucci stores.

While in the Trastevere They found an old warehouse that they converted into the studio house of Paolo Gucci (Jared Leto). Furthermore, although it supposedly took place in Milan, outside his office, Maurizio's murder was located in the wider and more dramatic streets of Rome.
"In the end We're not shooting a documentary." says Arthur Max, production designer for The House of Gucci. “The mixture of styles reminds me of a combination of Tuscan and Arabic architecture. It's almost like another character in the movie."
From Milan you can see the unmistakable Vittorio Emmanuel Gallery. And they even made her pass through New York, on Canal Street, when Patrizia goes to buy cheap imitations of Gucci bags.
GUCCI VILLAS
Almost more impressive than Lady Gaga's wardrobe are the villas that appear in the film. Starting by Villa Negli Campiglio, occupied by Rodolfo Gucci (Jeremy Irons). A Milanese mansion from the 1930s that was owned by the Negli sewing machine company, now converted into a museum and that you may be familiar with if you have seen I am love, by Luca Guadagnino.
