The project, which is located on floors 86 and 102 of the building and which has cost 165 million dollars, consists of six exhibitions in more than 10,000 m2. What are we going to find in them?
New York in 360º.
First of all the exhibition, NYC: Above & Beyond , with interactive screens where you can organize your visit to New York in a personalized way. This is especially interesting because it has personalized information according to the interests of each person and in the five districts of the city: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island.
Itineraries are automatically downloaded to the phone thanks to QR codes, and you can also send it by email. In addition, you will not only find it in English but in many more languages.
Another of the new experiences at the Observatory is Artistry in Light . Have you ever wondered how the empire state music and light shows are created ?
This exhibition reveals the secret to us through a short film in the mouth of its creator, the designer Marc Brickman . In it we can see two great moments for the city: the show that included the voice of Alicia Keys in 2012 and the classic light show synchronized with the " All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey.
