As a child, what I liked the most was make dresses for the Barbies with toilet paper or socks”, Claudia Traisac tells us. Her most special projects? “When I was 21 years old I shot in Panama Escobar. Lost Paradise, with Benicio del Toro, and then I was part of the cast of the Mecano musical, in a theater with 2,000 seats. I was braver than I would have imagined. I look back and think that defined me. I was very lucky, I have participated in such beautiful projects that perhaps now I seek to repeat those sensations, but it does not happen so often”. In The Call she came in to She will replace Macarena García. “It was a huge challenge. The Javis told me something that stuck with me: that I was enough. It was a turning point in my life and in my relationship with myself.”

Her work is closely linked to travel. “Whenever a project requires living with my colleagues, the experience is more enriching and intense”, Claudia affirms that she spent many hours watching movies with friends of the cast during the filming of the series Live without permission, in Galicia. “Traveling makes your reality expand, your perspective, it is essential for growth. You learn a lot, always in a way that is respectful of destiny.”

An article read on our pages she encouraged her to visit Mazunte, in Oaxaca, which was a magical experience. “This year has been hard and I miss traveling, it is a part of my life and I long for that freedom, although I also hope that serves to realize the impact of tourism, which has damaged many natural habitats. Our way of consuming, eating, relating and traveling affects the planet”, she reflects. Traisac lives between Madrid and Los Angeles, a city in which she had a hard time getting the hang of it, but where she has found a balance.

“When I arrived I did not understand that everything was so far away. Now I've discovered the L.A. that I love: Silve Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz. I go by bike, I have my usual coffees, I walk my dogs... Life there is perhaps more contemplative, with open houses, there is more space for oneself. From Madrid I love being able to walk, go to breakfast and see someone... there are days when I don't go home”.

Do you plan to settle in Hollywood? “For the first time I have really considered where I am going, what I want. If it has to happen, it will happen, but my goal is to get involved in something in which I feel reflected, ”she adds, determined to let go of every situation, including this photo shoot.
