The EVOOLEUM Awards , or what is the same, the International Awards for the quality of extra virgin olive oil, have spoken to choose the 10 best EVOOs in the world in a ranking with a clear Spanish role. And it is that eight of the 10 selected oils speak our language.
Just the first and fourth place go outside our borders, specifically to Italy, to the firm Monini S.p.A and its varieties **Monini Monocultivar Coratina (96 points) ** and **Monini Monocultivar Frantoio (95 points) **, both from Perugia.

Organized by the Mercacei Publishing Group and the Spanish Association of Olive Tree Municipalities, in the third edition of the EVOOLEUM Awards, 700 samples from 17 different countries. The titanic task of deciding has fallen to a jury made up of 23 tasters from Spain, Italy, Greece, Germany, Portugal, Israel, Argentina and Japan.
This ranking is part of a broader classification made up of 100 references that can be consulted in the _ EVOOLEUM World's TOP100 Extra Virgin Olive Oils Guide._ Coming from a dozen countries (more than 60% are Spanish), all the oils that appear mentioned have between 85 and 96 points out of 100.
