BADA: the art of you to you

Anonim

The art has always been synonymous with revolution of emotional and mental agitation. We have not yet revealed what causes us to be fascinated by a work, perhaps therein lies its power: a lack of knowledge that, however, manages to enthrall us. But if we normally admire them keeping our distance and not knowing who is causing such an impact, BADA comes to break down those barriers.

BADA lands in Madrid like a cable to connect us to art in general and to the artist in particular. It is, as they describe, a democratization of art . Here there are no galleries or intermediaries, this is a conversation between you and them, the way to put a face to the works and the motif to the strokes.

Bada art fair

Goodbye to the barriers between public and artist.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The fair starts on May 5 and ends on the 8th of the same month. During this period, BADA has focused on one unflappable goal: start the ‘Artist Direct’ revolution . In these four days, we all become collectors, with the opportunity to acquire works of art at affordable prices and directly from the hands of their creators.

Each registered artist will enjoy exhibition freedom, they will be able to present their works in different sizes and prices, but they must meet a single requirement: add 10 works whose price is less than 100 euros . This is BADA's way of sharing art, of erasing obstacles not only when contemplating his creations, but also obtaining them.

Ana Spinetto , plastic artist, is the creator and president of this fair that comes to build bridges with the public, to deny the idea of art as an unattainable discipline. We have always thought that hanging a work on the wall of our living room has been something of a movie or of excessive luxury, but art is for everyone or at least it should be.

Bada art fair

BADA shows that the democratization of art is possible.

WHAT AND WHO?

100+ artists, 100+ stories , so says the BADA schedule. An extensive sample of contemporary art whose origin shares borders between the Spanish and the international . And it not only embraces geographic diversity, but also disciplinary diversity, because there we will find photography, painting, video, analog and digital art, NFTs, sculpture, textile, ornamental, conceptual or expressionist art.

Juan Ibarra, Marcela Jardón, Rubia, Mercedes López Stábile, María Lavigne, Jochi Cámara and María Jalil, among others, will be some of the names that will parade through the Casa de Campo Satellite Pavilion . Well-known figures that cover numerous means of expression and who are eagerly waiting to meet their audience and, who knows, future buyers.

And in a fair in which art is a tool for vindication and the format, the declaration of a revolution, a gap could not be missing for social engagement . Examples of this will be the dedicated corner to the LGBTIQ+ community focused on diversity and inclusion or the space for denouncing human trafficking represented by the group of artists ESPECIALLY and the work Does not about.

BADA was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina , and already has ten years of experience behind his back that support his struggle to make art an accessible discipline. Now he comes to Madrid to continue a legacy based on opening doors and bringing us closer to creativity, never better said, for love at art.
