There is a moment between July and August when the heat is unbearable and the holidays are either far away or never seem to come when you wish the summer in Madrid would be over. Then the Ferragosto arrives, our bridge of the Virgin, the heat has given a truce and September is closer And you wish you never wished summer would end. You are right. This has happened. That's how nostalgic you finally get sitting on the terrace of Lady Madonna in the shade of Orellana street at lunchtime Praying that summer never ends.

Exaggerated? Can. But it's worth proving me wrong. Lady Madonna hasn't opened in Madrid for two years yet and has already carved out a niche for herself as a safe bet for lunches, snacks and casual dinners , with friends or as a couple in that neighborhood that is rising from its ashes, Las Salesas. With a varied menu, with dishes almost always designed to share, and a fusion that convinces everyone, from hamburgers to salads, sushi or grilled prawns.
Twice a year, at Lady Madonna they update the menu and it is still possible to try their novelties against the heat. Fresh proposals such as Norwegian salmon sashimi , but also powerful ones like the chicken milanesa sandwich will last until the heat lasts in Madrid. Hopefully a lot.
