Traveling is the solution to many of the dilemmas from which we start on a daily basis. One of them may be that project that we haven't finished gestating or the push we need to start a business or a professional idea. This is the goal with which it was born in 2017 Vaera Journeys , at the same time the creative project of Meagan Drillinger , businesswoman based between New York and Mexico.

Vaera's creation is a consequence of her life Proyect , a writer and inveterate traveler, one day decides to help women like her who want to start a project.

"I discovered that travel with other women it has always been inspiring for my own career and has helped me tremendously with networking, expanding my contacts, opening my mind and offering me new ways to grow,” she tells Traveler.es.

Her goal is to organize retreats with about 10 women for six days , in which coaching and learning activities are carried out with other businesswomen. The first of them was in 2018 when they traveled to Playa de Carmen in Mexico.

In May 2019 they will leave with a group of women entrepreneurs to Vallarta Port , Also in mexico; after there will be another retreat in September but this time the destination will be Havana.

"There will be two trips this year, and hopefully three next year. From there we will do four a year. But we also organize personalized trips if companies want to do corporate withdrawals," adds Meagan.

The event organized in May will feature three sessions with businesswoman Elena Ollick , entrepreneur and owner of Daily Mom . "Elena will direct several educational workshops that focus on helping each woman grow her own business or brand. They include individual training sessions, group work, brainstorming and practical exercises."

For six days, educational sessions are combined with immersive trips and free time to enjoy the beach or explore the city.

" This is an opportunity for everyone to grow , interact, learn and discover," Maegan told Traveler.es.
