Barcelona leads the national ranking of the favorite destinations of TripAdvisor travelers
TripAdvisor has announced its award winners Travelers´ Choice Destinations , who recognize travelers favorite places of TripAdvisor from all over the world.
In this new edition Spain has 10 award-winning cities, one of them at a global level and three at a European level.
Barcelona **this year occupies the seventh position in the world list** (going down one step compared to the previous year), the fifth of the European (maintaining the same position as the previous year) and the first place in the national ranking.
** Mallorca ** is in the position number 2 in the Spanish ranking and 9 in Europe, while Tenerife Climb four places, reaching tenth place in the European ranking.

LONDON, THE BEST DESTINATION IN EUROPE AND THE WORLD
London stands like winner both worldwide and in Europe, followed by **Paris, Rome, and the Greek island of Crete.**
The international interest aroused by the british royal wedding it made London the center of attention, encouraging travelers to visit the city.
There were several experiences related to royalty that experienced a significant increase in reservations, such as the city tour that includes the changing of the guard and access to Buckingham Palace (with a 231% increase in bookings) and visiting Windsor Castle with transport from London (173%) .
They have also managed to be on the list of the ten best destinations in Europe: istanbul (in sixth place), prague (in seventh place) and Lisbon (in eighth place).

In Spain, both archipelagos occupy several positions in the ranking of the favorite destinations of TripAdvisor travelers.
