BACON AND FREUD . The Marlborough Gallery begins the year analyzing the human condition , through the creations of Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud . Bacon's history with Marlborough is curious since it was in this same Madrid gallery where the artist was going to present an exhibition that was cut short by his death... and that ended up being posthumous. Bacon spent his last days visiting El Prado, where he drank from Goya and Velázquez. MORE MUSIC. Madrid Brillante was born to show that music is still more alive than ever. The festival kicked off with a series of concerts at the Teatro La Latina and now the Teatro Reina Victoria is also joining this initiative with a most interesting program, betting on the talent and the safe culture.
