The world is changing. And no, this phrase is not the beginning of any 'Tolkienian' prophecy, but rather an obvious fact that is sometimes invisible to the naked eye. Nevertheless, there are cities and citizens who are leading this metamorphosis, cities where the future is being cooked and that little by little, with more or less revelry, they are showing it with pride.
In some cases, 2019 will only be the advance, the teaser of incessant progress. In others, the time to take a look at the world, place yourself on the wishlists and transform your vacations. Because exoticism and beauty are not measured in miles of travel.
A Spanish city sneaks into the list, a Portuguese surprise (we say goodbye to the reign of Lisbon and Porto), Nordic discoveries outside the great capitals that enchant us so much...
But in addition, we have looked at the great unknown territories that still do not know what tourism is. Also of populations stigmatized by conflicts but that hide jewels that wait to be known and recognized...
We have been ambitious, we have taken out the magnifying glass and we have come across great urban gifts, who are committed to fashion, in the unfathomable Africa. How much does the continent have to offer us?
This year we forget Rome, because Italy continues to teach us that the boot has a lot to teach. And you know: Albania is the new Croatia and Macedonia... why don't we travel more to Macedonia? Why don't we get this list out and start ticking off new destinations? You dare?
