Here is the prelude to the opening of 'Game of Thrones: The Official Exhibition'
Yes to the Meninas by Antonio Azzato competition has come out... But there is no need to worry, in Madrid there is room for everyone.
It is not the first time that fantasy has taken over the streets of the capital. For these dates, a year ago , along the Paseo de la Castellana, we could contemplate five magical sculptures of the universe of Harry Potter .
This time they will be four large-scale Game of Thrones figures which will attract all eyes.
Madrid is an open-air museum
Each of them is a tribute to some of the most famous Houses of the Seven Kingdoms : the direwolf of the Starks , which is located in the Philip II Square ; the lion of the Lannister , which rises in the Plaza de Murillo, between the Prado Museum and the Botanical Garden ; one of the sons of the Mother of Dragons, in the Callao square ; and finally the iconic helmet of the unsullied , which we can find in the Elizabeth II square.
And it is that, although the end of what has been one of HBO's most acclaimed series has left us with a bittersweet taste, the unconditional fans still want to enjoy it, and we will: the October 26th will be inaugurated Game of Thrones: The Official Exhibition in IFEMA , the largest sample of the series in Spain to date.
Until then, we can open our mouths with some other selfie on the street thanks to this wonderful campaign, created by HBO Licensing & Retail, GES Events and local promoters in Spain, Sold Out and Encore, in collaboration with the Madrid City Council.

And that's not all: photographing you with the sculptures has a prize. Those who post a photo on their Instagram with one of the figures will be able to win a double ticket for Fan Day of the exhibition, which will take place next Friday October 25.
The winners will enjoy the exhibition before the opening, as well as attend an exclusive question round with Isaac Hempstead Wright, the actor who brings to life the character of bran stark , and Liam Cunningham, Sir Davos Seaworth on the screen.
