The restrictions and measures adopted in the face of the crisis caused by the pandemic are being updated day by day and we have assumed it: This is going to be a very strange Christmas.
However, we also know that distance separates bodies, but not hearts. That's why, To get a little closer to the people we care about most, Visit Finland has launched the 'Say it with Santa' initiative, with the help of Santa Claus.
What does it consist of? Very easy: Write a message to whoever you want and Santa Claus will transmit it to them with a personalized video. You have until November 29 to submit it!

Visit Finland, the country's national tourism authority, wants **to help people around the world stay in touch with loved ones this time of year. **
Finland has been named the happiest country in the world for the third consecutive year and wants this happiness to reach every corner of the planet Who better than Santa Claus himself to fulfill this mission?
The most endearing being of Christmas will receive personalized messages on the 'Say it with Santa' website and he will transmit them through a video.
From his house in Korvatunturi, Lapland, in the north of Finland, Santa Claus has expressed his excitement at participating in this initiative to bring love to everyone: "'Say it with Santa' will allow us to bring a little more happiness in a year in which, without a doubt, we need it. The elves and I have been working very hard throughout the year and I can't wait to hear what children around the world have to say."
“We wanted to find ways to promote the magic of Christmas virtually. So we asked the messenger of goodwill, Santa Claus, to help us send messages of happiness and encourage the Christmas spirit. The world needs joy and happiness,” says Heli Jiménez, Marketing Director at Business Finland.
A CHAT WITH SANTA CLAUS
“Say it with Santa” is based on a very simple idea: anyone can ask Santa to deliver his message simply by writing it to him.
From his workshop in Finland, he will review all the messages himself and choose the most outstanding ones with which he will make a video that will be published on Visit Finland's YouTube channel at the beginning of December. Santa is expected to read around 80 messages from all over the world.
“Would you like to cheer up a friend who lives far away? Congratulate someone or express your love to a loved one? Do you want to say hello to someone special whom you have not seen for a long time? Write your messages to Santa Claus until November 29 and help us spread joy”, says Jiménez.
In addition to the messages, people from all over the world will have the wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with Santa Claus himself in a live virtual meeting on the Visit Finland Instagram profile that will take place on December 11, at 7:00 p.m. (peninsular time). From November 30 to December 6, Santa will review all requests and he will choose the ones that will be recorded in videos with personalized greetings.
From December 7 to 13, the videos will be uploaded to the Visit Finland YouTube channel and delivered individually. And on December 11 you can meet Santa Claus live on VisitFinland's Instagram profile!
From December 14 to 20, a few lucky ones will be able to have a private online encounter with Santa Claus.
