ALTRESCOSES, A SHOP / GALLERY / WORKSHOP
To guide us through some of its shops, restaurants and unique spaces, we have Marc Morro , our cicerone was the last to arrive on the street with his shop / gallery / workshop, altrescoses ( AOO - Altrescoses Otherthings Otherthings ) . Morro is a 360º designer: he edits classic pieces –such as those of Miguel Mila -, designs furniture and objects for the house, produce your own collections - mainly in wood -, organize workshops , workshops and conferences, and is a teacher at the Elisava school. In Altrescoses you can find everything, from the magnificent pottery of Apparatus , to an accurate selection of objects of all kinds, scissors, calendars or bottle openers..., all with a state-of-the-art design.
“I've been on this street for a few months and at the moment it's all advantages, it has a lot of energy. You see that many people come directly to a couple of sites that they already know and find other surprises. Or he arrives by chance and is fascinated by the density of possibilities that it offers”, comments Morro.

They maintain long and stable relationships with them, based on trust. OX, SCANDINAVIAN FURNITURE FROM THE 50S, 60S, 70S
Ox's goal is simple: to offer beautiful furniture and objects, with scandinavian essence . Viveca Gonzalez and Shukri Girgis have filled it with designs from famous firms, such as Bruno Mathson Y Piet Hein ; as soon as we enter we find the lamp " artichoke " of Paul Henningsen , the famous Artichoke . The store is also a restoration workshop and a creative space where interior design projects are carried out with pieces from mid 20th century.

MIQUEL ALZUETA, THE GALLERY OF THE MOST EXCLUSIVE PIECES
Editor, art dealer, gallery owner, interior designer... **Miquel Alzueta is a character in Barcelona**. Years ago he edited the biography of Kahnweiler , the legendary art dealer and gallery owner picasso , and, as far as he is concerned, he brings artists such as Regina Giménez, Manolo Ballester or Miguel Macay. On the other hand, he searches the world unique pieces , especially from the 20th century, by authors such as Jean Prouvé, Le Corbusier or Charlotte Perriand , either 18th century country furniture . He also regularly presents exhibitions of modern art, early European avant-garde art and photography. It is worth visiting the spectacular space, an old factory full of light, located on the ground floor of the interior patio of number 9 of the street.

murielle bressan is behind this flavored “concept store” French , focused on art and design of furniture, toys, fashion and everyday objects for children, the idea is to awaken their taste for well designed, well done and so ecological.
DIAGONAL, STATE-OF-THE-ART LIGHTING
The lighting and luminaires store of Josep Lluis Xuclà i Altimir It opened in 1992, when the street was not yet a pedestrian street. From the window the darkness draws attention, and small nuclei of light that highlight the exhibited pieces of Ingo Maurer or Catellani & Smith . It is also his studio and a painting exhibition center. The designer has been distinguished with some of the most outstanding international design awards . Their light beacons are well known outdoor Junko, Magent and Noray , that makes B.lux.

ROIG ROBÍ, A CLASSIC WITH A SEASONAL AND GARDEN MENU
Among the diverse range of restaurants, we highlight the classic par excellence, Roig Robí. his chef, Javier Forest , has been in the restaurant for 30 years, and follows the same principles for his kitchen: seasonal products and cooking without experiments . The classics of the house are the rice with sea cucumbers , the cod fritters , the sea bass and prawn tartar and capipota with sanfaina . The space, without great decorative pretensions, is very well lit and exudes comfort for the diner; the beautiful terrace remains one of the most welcoming in the city.
