The most famous canine clan in Madrid, made up of Dachshunds, Pointers and Chow Chows, welcomes a new member into its ranks: ** Pomeranian, a Nordic breed but with a Mediterranean heart.**
Located on María de Molina street and with just over two months in operation, Pomerania offers an original proposal based on three pillars: signature cuisine, warmth in the environment and excellence in service.

IN THE TABLE
The menu consists of hot and cold starters, rice and pasta dishes, fish, meat and desserts. All of them made with Mediterranean products sprinkled with Nordic influences and the occasional Peruvian nuance.
One of the specialties of the starters is the Pomeranian salad, Composed of ingredients such as shrimp carpaccio, shrimp essence, whiskey, red curry or salmon ikura.
Also recommended are Grilled Hipster Vegetables accompanied by romesco sauce.

And although it is already common at tables in Madrid, do not overlook it, because one of the best dishes on the menu –and I would venture to say, in all of Madrid– is the burrata
Because we are not talking about the typical burrata “accompanied by tomato and basil”. Not much less. in Pomeranian the burrata is injected with Neapolitan pesto -and its taste cannot be described in words-.

The chef Gonzalo Menendez , director of the project, proposes signature cuisine brimming with personality and is clear about the intention of each of his creations: “Have fun and teach people how”.
"We work with original and fresh products of the day, we try to ensure that the quality line is very stable," says Menéndez.
“We have daily contact with our trusted suppliers, fundamental in the Pomerania equation”, he concludes.

SPACE
The design of the premises is carried out by Maria Villalon, author of other group projects such as Pointer and Chow Chow.
On this occasion, she wanted to print in Pomerania a contemporary design reinterpreting the Nordic trend with pure and geometric lines.
In the space, designed at double height, reign natural materials and the earth, gray and sand tones stand out, contrasting with the green of the vegetal wall that leads to the upper floor.
The illumination It is given by elegant brass lamps and sconces, to which is added the light that enters through the windows and mirrors.
The restaurant has capacity for 200 diners and also has private room and a nice heated terrace.
