Singapore Changi Airport

A MAGICAL scale

Changi Airport in Singapore was named the World's Best Airport by SkyTrax for the sixth consecutive year. The reasons? Its punctuality, its few cancellations and, in addition, its design, architecture, services for travelers...

Changi is practically an amusement park. Inside: swimming pools, spas, cinemas, orchid gardens and even a butterfly garden. And from now until the middle of February, its Terminals 1, 2 and 3 become the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Passengers landing in Changi will not land at the airport: they will land in the magical world of Harry Potter and also from the Fantastic Beasts saga.

Four scenarios, spread over the first three terminals, will make the stops much more bearable: Shall we play Quiddich?

Let's start at the beginning: Terminal 1 has now become Newt Scamander's menagerie (if you've seen The Crimes of Grindelwald you will know what we are talking about) ; in Terminal 2 you will be welcomed by an old acquaintance from the magical world, the Sauce boxer; and in Terminal 3, Diagon Alley and the charming town of Hogsmeade they are waiting for you.

BEYOND HARRY POTTER

As we mentioned, Changi airport has become, little by little, in an amusement park, in a place to visit as if it were a monument . Inside its four terminals, activities and architectures like you would never imagine. Let's take a walk to finish terminal.

Terminal 1 , built in 1981, will welcome you with a 460 square meter garden. Here you will find different free rest areas, an interactive art space for children, a cactus garden...

Terminal 2 , completed in 1991, hides movie theaters and a completely mesmerizing work of art. It is a great clock made up of 504 clocks... do you dare? In addition, a garden just for orchids, another enchanted garden with certain Gaudian motifs... and the possibility of getting on one of the buses that leave every 15 minutes to make a quick visit to the city before your next flight.

Terminal 3 , a decade old, is famous for its butterfly garden and glass garden.

And finally , Terminal 4 , the youngest (opened in 2017) and perhaps the most theatrical. Buildings of typical architecture that you will find in central Singapore are represented here, as well as being able to attend theatrical performances of a Singaporean legend.
